A visit to Anantara The Palm Dubai

in #photography7 years ago (edited)

After having Dubai on our bucket list for years we finally made it to Anantara The Palm Resort. This resort sits on a man-made island on the eastern part of the Palm Jumeirah. It’s about 45 minutes from the Dubai International Airport, and It’s within easy reach of the Mall of Emirates, Dubai Mall, Dubai Marina, Ski Dubai etc.
Some of the main restaurants are:
Crescendo - An All Day Dining Restaurant
Mekong - Thai, Vietnamese and Chinese cuisine
Bushman’s Restaurant & Bar - Australian cuisine
The Beach House - Mediterranean cuisine

The resort is designed with an Asian flair. It consists of three lagoon swimming pools, a spa, tennis courts, gyms, ballrooms, meeting rooms, kids club, teen club.
The “Lagoon Rooms”offers views of the gardens and the lagoons while the “Lagoon Access Rooms” offers direct access to the lagoon.
The “Over Water Villas” sits over the Arabian Gulf, some of them offers glass viewing panels in the floors.

The resort also offers their own transportation to and from The Mall of Emirates.

Didn’t get a chance to do much cooking since we chose half board for our dining option but this is our lovely kitchen

Here are some of the delicious foods served at the Crescendo Restaurant. There was a wide range of dishes, especially for vegetarians, vegans and those on a gluten free diet. We were spoilt for choice and very mouth watering. Although there were choices for meat we found these vegetarian dishes were appetising enough.

Overall we enjoyed our stay at the Anantara Resort and would surely be visiting again in the near future. I hope you all enjoy this blog. Thanks for reading.
