There is the common misconception that phone photography or phoneography as me and my buddies love to call it cannot be taken serious or professionally . The standard DSLR is technically superior and more condition to shoot amazing pictures than your phones but truly, the quality of a good photo depends solely on the photographers creativity and ideas and not the tool he or she uses to shoot.
I have been shooting phone photographs for over a year and i do get the "wow, this is amazing, i don't think this could be done with just a phone", so i decided to give a show tell on how you too can shoot totally amazing pictures with just your hand held device.
Yeah! There is a whole lot of amazing photos waiting for you to capture but before we begin our little phoneography journey, Allow me to reintroduce to you YOUR MOBILE PHONE CAMERA!

Your phone camera is not so different from the digital cameras. Think of a bicycle and a tricycle, both serve the same purpose for transportation even though one has more advanced components to ensure efficient delivery. Your mobile phone camera is the bicycle in this case.
A lot of persons have the notion that " my phone camera lens is not good enough" "i cant capture good images with just my iphone or android device". However, a whole lot of this persons totally forget that even while shooting with your handheld device, you must pay attention to the settings, the scenes, the lighting as you would if shooting with a standard DSLR.
We will be treating the settings step by step in our next blog post so as to make that brilliant photographer in you come to the fore!!!
