Waterfalls again but this time in color

On Saturday I shared this post of the waterfalls in sepia and today I will share a few shots of them in color.

I do love walking around the duckpond downtown here in Milford, I do end up walking by it most times I head out for a walk from home, which is happening more with the temperature being cooler and not so motivated for early morning walks on the beach.

I am trying to find shots from different angles so my posts of it don't get too repetitive, such as this first shot of the end of the waterfall looking over some rocks.

Now this was a day there were actually ducks by the pond, normally its more of a goose pond, so I got this shot of them and the falls from a different angle.

The day I got this next shot a week or so ago, it had recently rained which added these puddle onthe grassed area, which I thought made for an interestign shot.

I hope you're not getting sick of the falls, I find myself walking by them more these days over the cooler months.

Those shots were before winter I forgot to mention they were taken back in November, not much color around at the moment

Aha, I understand and I have thought so, but who knows - you might have had a nice and warm day during the weekend 🙂
The colors here are not pleasing neither, apart from the places where it is all white from hoarfrost, but is is too warm during the days for the frost to stay.

I looked out the window as I drove to the station this morning some frost out but not enough to get good photos plus it’s still dark

That could well be the case but to be honest today is to cold for me to go out looking for it, there is probably some nice frost by the beaches

I can totally understand you for not going out in the cold.
I'm not going anywhere today neither, but not because it's too cold, but rather because I'm too lazy and have to do some work at home, which I probably also won't do, because of my laziness these days ... ;)

Such breath-taking shots and the colour is really magnificent. I know how you feel about not wanting to be repetitive, my few videos have been of my view. Now, I never tire of it, but I worry it'll become to 'oh the same' but it's all a learning curve, right?

The last shot with the sunburst of the sun is wonderful. I have one shot I love to get through a pine tree over the sea in the morning that if I hit it just right it gets that golden burst of light. It's always such a magical effect.

Happy falls walking and keep them coming, I'm not bored of them :)

Thanks, we got a little snow yesterday less than was predicted only a couple of inches and we had some sun today which melted some away but it is below freezing so that just means more ice than anything

Puddles of water make a nice shot reflecting directly down, ducks always make a pond super interesting, nice reflections captured again. Then the sun behind the main trunk of the tree gives amazing warmth to the glowing gold leaves right next to you.

The Canada geese hanging out by the edge of the waterfall in your second photo certainly are daredevels! Had to zoom in on my smartphone to see the overconfident feathered friends. Maybe they were playing a game of chicken?!🐓😀
