I thought i would share with you a little snippet of my summer (it was actually in April).
Believe it or not, we did have some absolute scorching days of sunshine, one of which me and my family decided to take a walk to our local Park in the grounds of our top university.
Not only is it a beautiful place to walk but it has a boating lake and after missing out last year, we decided to queue up and take our turn in a small boat.
After 2hrs in the queue we finally got on the water. Because we had our 4yr old at the time we decided not to go for the kayak style and went for the traditional style rowing boat.
For an hour we rowed up and down a couple of times the beautiful lake, the sun shining down, throwing reflections of the univeristy clock tower across the water. The ducks happily swimmimg by not a care in the world.
