Hey all, I recently visited a beautiful national park in China called Zhang Jia Jie and I wanted to share one of its many features with the Steemit community.
Welcome to the gorgeous Tian Men Shan (Sky Door Mountain)!
True to its name, this mountain features a gaping hole that resembles a door leading up into the sky. In 1999, three aircraft successfully completed a stunt in which they flew through the hole.
There are a total of 999 steps along the stairway that lead up to the entrance of the hole. I managed to complete this climb in a little under 12 minutes, and I was EXHAUSTED. However, the view more than made up for it. You can see other tourists trying to complete this journey as well!
I was rewarded with this amazing view of the landscape and the tourist-based city of Zhang Jia Jie off in the distance. I'm really glad I fought the heat to make it all the way up the mountain!
Please share this post and follow me for more content regarding past and future adventures!
Thank you for bringing this place under attention!!!

My pleasure
Truly, this is majestic. I've been their once, when I visited a relative in Zhangjiajie City, in central China’s Hunan Province. The activity this majestic place for tourist are hiking, cable car riding, and viewing the amazing view of nature.
There are so many different things to do there; I was able to visit the landscape where Avatar was filmed, go whitewater rafting, and try a different style of spicy hot pot cuisine that the Hunan Province is known for.
Amazing place
It really is!
