For golden hour this morning, I decided to take a wander downtown Hamilton ont. I wasn't finding much to take photos of but when I reached the corner of Main St. and James St. A challenge became clear!
Doing light trail photos is one of my favorite styles and has many challenges/variables but attempting them during the day adds a whole new level! The shutter can not be open as long as it can at night, so you need to plan the location and scene very carefully according to that.
After finishing these shot I grabbed a coffee and sat down in a green area in front of the court house, only to look over and spot a deer! They are common in the area but never come into the downtown core, so it was a strange and dangerous site. The deer didn't stuck around for long before darting off (thankfully it was ok despite disrupting traffic)
