Some photo’s taken whilst exploring Como

Inside this cathedral @fempower had the priest bless her newly acquired ‘Our Lady’ medallion

A ‘panoramic’ view of the lake

A memorial made from local stone to their fallen comrades from WW1

I just love the fact that one can just walk into any of the churches and enjoy the tranquility and silence unhindered by authority

This is in fact a color photograph although it certainly appears monochrome. I put a small yellow circle around the only bit of color to prove the point

By this time it was almost dusk so we headed back to our accomodation where I made some dinner from very decent ingredients procured at the local store

Simple fare of Tuscan Ravioli stuffed with ricotto and spinach accompanied by a tomato and aubergine sauce seasoned with freshly ground salt and black pepper. We accompanied the meal with some fresh crusty rolls dipped into olive oil and balsamic vinegar.... and of course a glass of red wine... or three
Thanks for reading.... I am sure you are all now tired of Italy so this was the last in the series.

Gosh, it looks cold! The photo inside the church is gorgeous. Maybe not as fancy as some of the others you saw, but I think maybe the prettiest.
