MyPictureDay #30 Contest Winners

Thank you to everyone who participated in the thirtieth MyPictureDay photography challenge. You gave me a really hard time picking the winners. Read the following rules carefully to avoid being disqualified! MyPictureDay is about going out, taking pictures and share your passion. It's about telling stories and capture moments for us. Using old pictures is against the essence of this contest.

There were many good entries and I proudly present you the first three places and some honorable mentions!

Let us know how your PhotographyDay looks like! Grab your camera (or mobile phone) and go out, take some shots and share them on Steemit!

The best PictureDay post gets 15 SBD onto his account, the second place 10 SBD and the third place 5 SBD.

How to you participate?

• Make a photography post with at least three shots and tag them with the hashtag: mypictureday and photography, resteem this post.
• Important! Write MyPictureDay in the title of the post. For instance: Flower Power - MyPictureDay Submission
• Only use your own work. You are not allowed to use any stock images. Every entry will be reverse-searched and automatically disqualified when other peoples content was found.
• The pictures must be from the week of the entry.
• Deadline for your entry is Sunday 22.07, 8 pm UTC.
• Write us what you did on this day and what camera you used for your shots.
• You can use any device that takes pictures. iPhones, DSLRs, analog cameras, any phone etc.

So lucky that you get into steemit so early and can earn by doing this kind of post also. We can't get anything by the post. I couldn't read whole post bcause of large text and I have no idea what to do. And do you relly pay for the phtography??

Strange thing, but for a few years of shooting sunset around Klaipeda I never was at southern part of the gates to port. Mainly the reason is that you need to cross the gulf first by ferry and then go by bicycle around 6-7 km to the gates. Not so big distance, yes, but other places of sea coast just more conveniently reachable just by car

Anyhow, finally few days ago when I was almost sure that a stunning sunset should be expected, took a bicycle and reached the destination in time :)

Few shot here and there just to get some notes and shooting positions for possible next comings. Gates to the port with dawning sun, some stone structures around, cool red boat at the beach and finally my bike on a colorful sunset. Quite nice, colorful and relaxing story, if not to know that was actually running like in hell trying to make shots from different positions when sky was still colourful, which obviously lasts not so long time... :)

For me, one of the pleasures of traveling or traveling through my city is to go with my camera in hand and meet the locals, their stories, their passions, their fears and what they allow me to know. On this occasion I had the pleasure of sharing a moment with Mrs. Francisca del Poblado in Isla de Margarita (Venezuela) she is a beautiful person with whom I had the pleasure of talking and taking pictures while she told me her story. This affectionate grandmother every afternoon sits down in front of her house to have her hammocks, talking with her, asking her from when she was knitting and who had instructed her in that work. He told me: "My dear mother taught me and her mother this is a trade inherited from my ancestors with which I managed to raise my children and this legacy I am currently teaching my grandchildren, of course not everyone wants to learn (laughs) but I have the blessing of having many grandchildren so there are some who like it. I am passionate about what I do and I will continue doing it until I can no longer have a daughter. "

This is one of the many fighting mothers who are in Venezuela working every day for a better future for their families despite the current difficulty. Long live the perseverant mothers and grandmothers who teach and care for us in this life!
