Earlier this year, in September 2019, my wife and I went on an Alaskan cruise with the Holland American Cruise Lines aboard the Oosterdam. It was a great trip with plenty of photo opportunities (I'll be sharing many photos from our trip over a period of different posts since there were about 1000 photos I took on this journey). This photo was taken in the colorful town of Ketchikan, Alaska which is located in the Southeastern portion of Alaska along the Canadian border.
Much of this town is built along the seafront with many buildings built on piers in the water.
The rest of the town is built on the cliff sides of the mountains.
People have been from all over the world and the U.S. to see this place and...
...to visit it's many coffee shops such as this one and...
...and shops such as this one.
There are lots to do and explore here in Ketchikan; so, I do hope you can get a chance to sail on to this place on America's greatest cruise lines...
