You have probably heard of the Greyfriars Bobby story. The dog that stood by his master's grave for years. In Edinburgh one of the tourist attractions is the statue of the Scottish Terrier near Greyfriars Kirk.
It is common to rub the nose of the dog. But there is a drive now to encourage people not to do it as it harms the sculpture.
