This place has a very long history, it has been one of the capitals, it is on an island and can only be reached by bridge or boat.
To get to the island you need to cross some amazing wooden bridges.
The Gothic castle consists of a main palace and a forecourt. Both of these buildings are also connected by a wooden bridge.
Today the castle is a museum and variuos events and art installations take place. It is an amazing tourist destination, any time of the year.
At night, the castle reveals itself in other colors. Even more mystery, even more history.
This amazing place is located in Trakai, Lithuania. History intertwines and complements each other with civilization.
