I have been making a lot of posts with old photos I have found this week; going down memory lane is fun. Today I thought I would post photos I took this week.
It has been a slow week, and I need to save my money; but I have been trying to make the most of it. I can always think of ways to keep busy; there is always so much to do. For one; I have been trying to keep my bed made;
I have been drawing on Dada every day this week;
I have spent a lot of time walking and playing with these cute doggies;
Lola
Indica
Roger
and painting;
I have also been taking pictures with the 'yellow camera' on the "retro camera" app. It is fun; it makes even a sleepy week an exploration for treasure. Let me take you through the week day by day:)
Monday I finished a picture for a Steemit contest in this little cafe in Ktown
Tuesday; I walked this little guy;
Then I got my brother a rotisserie chicken and Pecan Pie at Ralphs for his birthday. Later we both watched Planet Zero while I worked on my first Dada sketch
Wednesday I did not walk any dogs; instead I finished a drawing for steemit;
Then went to "Lobster and Beer" with my brother and our roomate, Michael; for lobster and beer.
Later I made two Dada drawings while watcing a comedy show
Thursday I ended up making my photo adventure day; since I was low on funds I decided to just walk to Larchmont; a smalltownish like hamlet near Hollywood that is surprisingly laid back despite the fact that I swear I see at least one celebrity every time I go there.
I went to "Mr Holmes Bakehouse" and had these
And this
Here is where I sat;
The walk home to Ktown was rather magical;
Last night I finished the first Dada picture posted and this morning I had enough points to finally join in a conversation.
Then off to walk Roger again
The park I take him to is like a miniture fairyland
Complete with it's own castle.
The walk back was bright with the colors of spring.
I just got home and my brother had pasta cooking. I ate it while working on this post; this cutie lounging beside me.
Now off to do dishes.
As an endnote; while working on this I am reminded of how lucky I am in life.Please read this post by a fellow Steemian and help her out if you can, by upvoting, resteeming her posts. Thank you.
Super! =]
