Recently I found myself at the original Coney Island Drive Inn [sic], where Elvis once ate, during what first appeared to me to be a Friday night car show.
After walking around, I decided the 'car show' actually seemed to be more like a secret meet up between local classic car owners. It's very hush hush, a true Florida treasure.
There were about 10 classics gathered this time in various beautiful colors. We walked around each car in admiration and snapped off a few photos before heading in.
You order right inside. To our surprise we found ourselves deliberating over the new Gator Dog.
There was definitely more to choose from than the classic hot dog and hamburger.
The food was really good and who knew we'd find Elvis in the bathroom there!!!

I love your photo essay of this place. Classic cars are so fun to photograph! I came across a meeting of a classic thunderbird group a few years ago and all the cars were parked lined up along a road. Many good shots were had that day!
Thank you! The classics really are beautiful. Happy Steeming
