The intersection between two seasons is a really interesting thing to observe, when you get elements from both seasons. About a month ago I snapped this photo while going on a walk with the dogs, and I really like how we get to see the winter approaching by freezing the stream, while also having next to no snow or frost surrounding it. It's not often that we get such a clear mix of green forest and ice.
By now things are looking completely different outside with snow and ice everywhere. It's lovely, but it's a bit more monotone than the season intersections.
I am still super busy with the holiday season, and by now I'm starting to get a bit tired of the constant dinner parties and celebrations. It's great, but I'm glad that we're also soon coming back to normal.
Thanks for stopping by, and have a great weekend everyone! Enjoy your New Year's Eve tomorrow.
Absolutely stunning capture. I've seen a frozen stream once in Kyrgyzstan, with snow sitting on top, you could only see a small stream of water in the middle! Upvoted and resteemed!
Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed the photo, @ambr.global :)
It looks as if time has frozen! A very nice photo.
Thank you!
