The U.S. overthrow a dictator that was killing its people. This is one I think they got right. Most other attempts in the world was just wrong.

Allende was a socialist president put into power through a democratic voting system, Pinochet was a dictator who was put into power after the 1973 coup that the CIA and US Government partially planned, and he oversaw the murders of at least 3,000 people and the torture of at least 30,000 people.
