Over the weekend, I got really inspired to learn more about way on improving my food photography. I even got outside and played around with my camera to shoot some decent shots of my garden. Click here are some of those garden shots.
I’ve noticed that is a bit hard to use the SteemIt search feature to look for specified things, like Food Photography or Food Photographers, so I wanted to create a list of a few of my favorite Food Photographers on SteemIt. I know that I may miss a few, so if you have any suggestions, leave them in the comments. I want to find so many more.
Here’s 6 Foodies who take beautiful photographs of food that you should be following:
#1: @gringalicious Tori has a passion for cooking and photography and her SteemIt proile is the amazing accumulation of both. She’s currently lives in Patagonia, Chile. Get to know her, you won’t regret it. @gringalicious #2: @isshappy Sofia is a newcomer to SteemIt, but she has been so impressionable on here that I’d regret not sharing your lovely photos. She is a vegan food blogger from Germany that currently is traveling through South East Asia. Follow her for her healthy recipes and keep up with her travels. @isshappy #3: @allasyummyfood Alla is actually the one who introduced me to Steem and she inspires me everyday on here. She is a YouTuber & private chef from Latvia living in London with her dog Milo. She has an array of recipes hitting almost every category in the cookbook. When you go follow her, make sure to tell her that Jac sent you. @allasyummyfood Joanna is from Donegal, Ireland with her husband, son, and 2 cats. She shares vegetarian recipes that are free of sugar and unprocessed foods. Her recipes make my mouth water. @woman-onthe-wing #5: @kostiayatsuk Konstantin is a cook form the Ukraine. He shares recipes and photos of his creations as a chef from his restaurants. @kostiayatsuk #6: @richman Richman was nominated by one of their fans in the comments. On closer inspection, this list wouldn't be complete without them on this list. I don't know much about their blog, but the recipes are phenomenal and the photos almost make you believed that you can taste it. @richman

We need some kind of listing system or something. Or maybe a 'home' more like buzzfeed. Related posts etc. But it involves a lot of work behind the scenes...

Wow those look awesome, I must get to baking and cooking next week, been a bit slack on the food making last week - been warm weather so salads and raw mostly last week.
We've had rainy weather for the last week due to the hurricane, so all I've done is bake inside aha ;)

I have been doing the same, presentation and photography have always been my weakest points. When I used to work in commercial kitchens I always practiced for better presentation. Then once I started cooking just for home I went back to getting sloppy lol.
AHAHA i feel your pain. I need a room just for all the plates, random objects, fabrics that people use in their photos.
Omg I built a studio in the overstock room of my retail store. I will take some pics of all the gadgets and plates and post about it. Only we know the true struggle of being a recipe and content creator lol.
I used to travel every 3 months and move all my stuff. I consolidated a lot of it. I am going to hold out until I have a spare room again. I really want to build a studio kitchen for my cooking show and food photography. And also do live lessons for people wanting to learn how to cook.
The issue is the money. Don't have that yet.
You will, just keep sharpening your skills. You are taking amazing pictures and veganism is growing more and more by the day. I do not like to follow any mind of trend at all and will usually go opposite of anything that is trending, but vegans have oppened my eyes to eating almost no red meat at all. I had cut out most meat because of a lot of my research recently but some of the information being propagated online by vegans brought that reminder of the injustices that happen behind slaughterhouse doors. A couple of things traumatized me along the years. One day I will post the story. One was in person something I saw, the other was a movie that had nothing to do with veganism or nutrition and then recently some images on a vegan page. You guys are doing an amzing job and should be proud.
I can't imagine seeing a slaughterhouse in person.
