'Evil man'
This dark, painting-looking image is a photograph. Believe it or not, I did not photograph a painting. It is a three-dimensional wax doll, treated in such a way so it reminds of old Rembrandt oil paintings.
The background is barely visible but it's still there. The predominantly dark areas sketch the mood and gloomy atmosphere. The deliberately diminished focus adds a soft tension which also pushes forward the idea of looking at a painting. If it was fully sharp, of course, that the illusion would disappear. Using such tools is the difference between art and casual photograph.
It actually freaks me out. The fear is leaping out of this anything-but gentleman proving the idea works quite well. :D

It certainly looks like a painting, @velimir!! From that wax museum you have photographed several pieces and they all have that gloomy and mysterious air. The darkness of the face and the bony of the factions, mark more the malevolent. You did a good job! As always;)

I imagine the whole environment that accompanies that piece, only with the look! It's a good job, @velimir! Clearly the marked features and the fixed look as if I wanted to see beyond, produce an unpleasant sensation. Less more than just a piece of wax, because I would be terrified to find someone like that on a street. Greetings and hugs to you!

excellent work, although I admit that I generate a tension to see it, it must be the purpose.
It looks like a character on some movies that I know. But anyways, its beautiful
