There is in our steppes of Ukraine an interesting plant the Immortelle sandy. In Latin it is called Helichrýsum arenárium. Family Asteraceae. In the people this lilac flower is called by pad koshach.
This plant is indisputable it is applied in traditional medicine as medicine.
Only baskets are applied to treatment, that is buds of flowers, other parts are not used. The plant grows on waste grounds, steady against a strong heat and does not need water. From here probably and name such Immortelle.
It is possible to find the Immortelle almost on all earth, it grows in droughty places, about springs, or even in sand! It is interesting. that inflorescences of this plant contain vitamins K and C. It is applied at such diseases: problems with intestinal flora, cholelithiasis, gastritis, problems with a liver and kidneys.
Also the immortelle perfectly protects clothes from a moth!!! Pick several flowers and place in the case for clothes.
