Leaving the city and forgetting people and things I grow accustomed to counting on and eventually becoming complacent of the same old day to day, ready to experience something other than what I have grown accustomed to accepting as the normal. NORTH
In the spirit of adventure and a thirst for things and places never ventured, I head North, destination Chernigovka. A few hours on a path just a few hundred kilometers from my new home feels like another planet in relation to the place I called home in Califonria, eight thousand three hundred kilometers of seperation and an excursion to clear the mind and soul.
I met a nice русский волк and his watchful eye kept me on the right path regardless of the snowfall covering my recent tracks, I stopped to thank him. His down turned ear spoke to me without words that he never heard a word of English in all his life but had a keen sense for my disoriented ways. I was not so lost to know I better keep a safe distance
It's hard to find words to explain the feeling while viewing the wild terrain and knowing I may be the only human who has ever stood in this exact spot, than I imgine the possibility there were others before me. What they were like? What were they in search of? What were they doing in the same exact spot I am standing now?
