Barcelona just used to be synonymous with the name of a football club for me so far. You have put Barcelona as a city on my map!!
It is definitely going to be on my bucket-list of cities to visit. When I travel, I look for a city with 'character' rather than just touristy attractions. I like to see the city like a local - experiencing its history, spoken by it;s old buildings, I like to hear its voice - heard in the babble of humanity in it's market, I like to feel the freedom of expression of the city, through the artworks in the city...
You have through your picture blog, demonstrated that Barcelona is going to tick all those boxes for me.
I love the facade of Casa Batello and even the building next to it. I love the warm stone buildings which truly appear to exude a welcome as you walk past them. Your 'mouse perspective' angle does emphasize the perspective very well indeed. The night shot of the city is just stunning too. Mental note to self - I must use the mouse perspective more often when I photograph old buildings.
Thank you for this detailed and wonderful blog. I feel like hopping on a plane right now - alas, have to wait for generating enough Steem to do that . (just joking. I will manage to get allocation of some funds for this trip from the boss (my wife) LOL)@mrs.steemit - Wow -
Thanks for sharing. Upvoted
I hope I will be able to put up such interesting blogs sometime in near future. I am mostly into wildlife and travel blogs with my original photos and my musings about them. I request you to visit my latest blogs sometime when you have time - your comments would be very welcome and will really take my Steemit experience to a new level.
