What a "Full Wedding" looks like from us!

Hi Steemians! I love sharing my "Wedding Photo of the Day" series every day with you all but suddenly thought it would be nice to share what a whole wedding looks like from us. These shots are taken by me and @skiesandsports, my husband with whom I own our business. I hope you enjoy the post! - Verity x

It was hard to pick which wedding to share with you all as we have shot over 300 now but this one was on of our favourites last year and knew it would be a good one to share. When this couple contacted us from Singapore we were already excited about the prospect of shooting their day, but also felt a lot of pressure as they have the choice of any photographer in the entire World and had interviewed with some from New York. It was very flattering to be the ones chosen and we wanted to make sure we gave them our full attention and best experience we could! They flew over to London so that we could shoot their pre wedding engagement shoot and instantly we hit it off. Such a fun down to earth couple and exploring London was the perfect way to get to know them. They loved the shots we took that day and included them in a gallery set up for one of their evening receptions of their wedding. When we headed out to Singapore to shoot their 3 day wedding we didn't know quite what to expect, we had shot many Chinese weddings before so knew all the traditions but being in a whole other country and also a very hot one adds to the pressure of it all! As soon as we arrived in Singapore we fell in love with the country and the people, everyone was so friendly and the country was just beautiful. We headed out for the first of the 3 day wedding and we were instantly welcomed into this amazing family. With so many photographic opportunities before us it was like a dream come true for us. With their venues around Singapore we got an amazing tour of the country and all the different sites. They chose just stunning venues fit for royalty, and in fact just as well as royalty was indeed present for the third day of their wedding. With members of parliament and prime ministers from neighboring countries attending it was a black tie dinner to remember. It all looked so elegant. It would have been easy to get carried away with all the decor etc but for us whats important most about a wedding is the couple and their friends and family, this couples love was infectious and it was hard not to follow them around and capture their amazing smiles and moments of joy all throughout. It really was a pleasure to be a part of this amazing families day and I hope you enjoy looking through an example full collection from us! This whole set is so awesome and beautiful and exciting, you guys are such a great team! Funny thing that I just listened to the Crazy Rich Asians book and the events are situated in Singapore for most of the time so all these pictures cave me a better idea of what it all looks like, thank you for that! :)

Very vibrant impression of a wedding. Great idea to post this full-day (complete with a child! - bridesmaid - seems like she didn't have a lot of peers to relate to on the day, though.).
Good thing you stipulate you are only open to "photographic questions" or I would have been so bold as to ask what on earth happened in photo no.3 - before arrival (I hope that much at least).
Amazing how your reputation preceeds you world-wide! But well deserved. The couple made the best choice ever!

Oh hahaha that photo was part of the Chinese door games so they taped the door so the Bride couldn't get outside, they Bridesmaids set tasks for the Groom and groomsmen, some of them were really harsh!
