“Hey, at least now we know when the next train was due.” ~ Chris Chambers, Stand By Me
Every time I see a Train trestle is reminds me of one of my fave movies and also, reminds me not to cross them because you never know when the next train is due.
This one is located in Toronto (East York), Ontario, Canada and runs over top of Eglinton Ave. East and E.T. Seton Park. When you walk under the park portion you are able to see the how this amazing structure is created- Metal, Concrete and Railway ties.
(Interesting plant growing under it)
The rail line is still in use today, unlike so many others, so I believe it is something to be cherished!
Have you ever walked across a trestle? Do you have a favourite spot you love to watch trains from? Would love to hear about it :)
Nice work! I like that last one the most. They way the light bounces off the trees makes it look like a reflection in water...?? Is it a reflection?
Thank Your or your nice comment! It was taken directly looking into a very sunny and bright sky so it looks like a reflection. Never noticed that before but I can see it now.
I love how everyone sees something different :)
