This is the sunset yesterday in Namibia's Namib Desert after a seriously rainy day on set filming an advert. Besides the absolute beauty of this area it was amazing to be standing in an arid desert while it is pouring down and lightning striking all around us. To give you an idea why it is so special I snatched a bit from Wikipedia:
"Annual precipitation ranges from 2 millimetres (0.079 in) in the most arid regions to 200 millimetres (7.9 in) at the escarpment, making the Namib the only true desert in southern Africa."
We were in the arid region.

I love the desert! Have only visited some during my stays in the Middle East. Mysterious and enchanting lands!
Sky in fire. Very beautiful! 😍
