I have Dachshunds, they would Not touch it, as long as I watched it! THEN it would be doomed!
:D

Then they would swear that some cat snuck in and stole it, while they were guarding it (not is so many words, LOL) like the good dogs they...aren't!

Well, I would believe a dog's story over a devious cat's any day! If they said they had to eat it to protect it from a cat, I could accept that.

Wellll, they do think that a cat makes a fine breakfast...I have to watch them carefully, LOL!

They are pretty spoiled, and get away with way too much; but they are fun, because they miss NOTHING!
:D

And that's the reason we keep them around and mostly let them have their way. If we didn't love them, we would not put up with it.

My rule for guests: My dog lives here and you don't.

willie3.jpgThey are family. The one that has adopted me as his pet is named Willie (full name Wet Willie, he named himself); he is a double dapple miniature Dachshund, and I delivered him myself. So he is pretty spoiled; and gets away with way too much! Good thing he lets me share his sleeping chair!

We rescue Dachshunds, so I have a couple of rescues here too. Keeps life interesting. Have my first full sized one here now, they act just like the smaller rotten ones. :D

WONDERFUL! Willie looks comfortable and very much at peace. You have to love a pup that knows his rightful place in HIS home! How old is he?

Thanks for sharing Willy's photo. The more the better.

He was marked like this when he was born, but he is 14. He was 13 then, and had just destroyed a pit bull in HIS back yard.

He DOES own this house! :) He misses Nothing, and is a forever source of enjoyment! I am his selected pet for sure! Willie has taught me the meaning of the word "Dogged".... :)

When I bring in a rescue dog, he welcomes them in, and adds them to the pack!

Here is the latest rescue that I had to keep, some can't be placed.
