W.W.'s Digital Photography :: PRESERVING A MURAL BY ARTIST GARY BEDELL

I was asked by a close friend to come photograph an enormous mural that a dear mutual friend had painted on the wall of her basement. She was worried that it could be damaged due to cracking or moisture, so she wanted to see what options were available to preserve it.

I came and took a 6-shot panoramic from as straight and distortion free an angle and focal length as possible. I would say the mural was approximately 5 feet tall and 15 feet wide.

This was the result after stitching.
