National Museum of Korea
The National Museum of Korea contains the history of Korea and South Korean art, at its finest. It was first opened in 1945 and was reopened in 2005 as a result of the Korean War. The contents of the museum were moved to a location in Busan during the war for its protection. When the war ended, it has been placed in temporary locations. Today, the National Museum has over 310,000 pieces of art and each year, the museum welcomes 3.1 million tourists.
