San Tomé is a residential and labor camp located about 14 km northeast of the city of El Tigre, in Anzoategui state, Venezuela
It develops activities belonging to PDVSA (Petróleos de Venezuela, Sociedad Anónima), the main oil exploration, extraction, refining and marketing company in Venezuela.
San Tomé is comprised of two main fields that are Campo Norte, where PDVSA's main offices are located in the southern Anzoategui state, and where there are also houses that serve as residence for workers of the company and; Campo Sur, where there are recreational areas as well as workers' residences.
The field has the Industrial Hospital of San Tomé, an important resource that has marked the pattern in the region in medical care for decades, also has 2 recreational clubs, golf, tennis, fronton, shooting courts, Soft Ball , baseball, basketball and soccer, as well as playgrounds and a large number of green areas in which many fruit trees stand out especially mango (Mangifera). Finally it is worth mentioning that in this area is Don Edmundo Barios Airport, the main air park that connects the cities of El Tigre, San Jose de Guanipa and San Tomé with the rest of the country.
We also have a zone command of the Bolivarian National Guard and a GNB professional troop training school.
San tome, una zona donde se vive en paz y tranquilidad, al llegar allí sientes la diferencia.
