Traveling thru Western Nebraska, Chimney Rock comes into view near Bayard. This was such an important Monument for Pioneers as they passed thru here on their way to a new life. They were tough as nails. They sought freedom to practice their religion, an opportunity to mine for gold, or a new life for their Families. Many were Immigrants. Most left everything behind in pursuit of the unknown.
They inspire me. They remind me that we all search for a better life. For Freedom. For Opportunity.
And it reminds me to be kind to other Travelers. We are all in this together.
