Photograph of the year 1995, in the town of El Amparo (municipality Ricaurte, Cojedes State), it is possible to observe one of the last oldest houses that took place at the beginning of the century XX. It is important to note that El Amparo was an important fluvial port located on the upper Cojedes River (in the current municipality of Ricaurte) about 70 km from El Baúl, which served as a link between the area of Portuguesa-Lara with El Baúl and San Fernando de Hurry.
