Famous for its treetop walk, we headed up into the canopy in the early morning, and it was really special. My favorite part was a beautiful red parrot who followed us from tree to tree the whole way, until finally when I jokingly stick my finger out to her, she jumped on to say hello. It was so magical!

Yeah yeah yeah, we all know that I am a bird nerd at heart, and I was stoked to check out O’Reilly’s bird of prey show right after we arrived. Run by an absolute legend who knows and loves these creatures more than anyone, we were able to learn about Australia’s native eagles and owls and even get to meet them up close.
