This spider was seen on La Gomera (Canary islands) in a mountain garden.
One characteristic feature of this group is their ability to spread by pieces of webs with ascending air currents.
This zigzag detail on a web is called the stabilimentum, function of it is uncertain, may be it should attract potential prey.
