This is what the bakeries in Rivendell must look like.
A shiny golden eagle sits atop an elaborately ornamental doorway made out of shiny mahogany wood. Elegant washes of brown, gold and earth reflect and scatter with the light along the intricate carvings. In some parts it almost appears red! Trust, the bread they make there tastes just as good as the outside suggests.
Of course you can see none of this because it's all in black and white.
This old imperial bakery called Hofbäckerei Edegger-Tax is the oldest remaining bakery shop in the Austrian city of Graz with a history extending as far back as the 14th century. It's famous for it's traditional Austrian bakery and it's instantly recognizable store front.

Wikipedia meint dazu: Die Hofbäckerei Edegger-Tax ist der älteste bestehende Bäckereibetrieb in Graz. Seine Wurzeln reichen bis in das 14. Jahrhundert zurück. Bekannt ist die Bäckerei durch die reich verzierte Fassade des Straßengeschäftes in der Hofgasse in Graz. Die Produktpalette umfasst die traditionellen Backwaren aus der [k.u.k. Monarchie sowie Spezialprodukte für Zöliakiekranke.

Hint of the Day:
The faster the shutter speed of your camera, the more in focus subjects that are moving will be! Of course you must remember to have sufficient light to capture fast moving targets.

Yeah the whole old town area of Graz (i actually live in Vienna) is very quaint indeed. We did have some bread from here! It tasted like the might of the empire, grandma's kitchen and wheaty dreams.
