Wonderful photos and beautiful location! I understand what you mean, because when I am in woods with a camera I feel the same way ) But I am convinced that their value not always in the skill of photography itself ;o) Cheers!

Always when I see a nice tree or a group of trees there's so much other stuff around and I struggle on making a nice composition, but I try to photograph more in the woods than I did before, because the more photos you take the more you see.
