Maybe you love to travel and maybe you love street art. I do. Here is my third part of my Street Art of Budapest series and I am sure you can find some good artworks in this post. Here is The First and The Second part, you can find more pictures there. Mostly all was made around the Deak Square, looking at the map from the Danube on the left to Erzsebet krt(Elizabeth Blv). It took me some hours to walk around but I had a cute woman with me, guiding me like a professional and I pretended to be a tourist and made photos. I could talk about the tension between us, the jokes, the smiles, the kisses but his blog is not about romantic bs so here I leave you these images of ART and a piece of this good memory of my life
Rubik's Cube
Erno Rubik, the Hungarian inventor, licensed the Magic Cube to Ideal Toys, a US company in 1979. Ideal rebranded The Magic Cube to the Rubik's Cube before its introduction to an international audience in 1980. The process from early prototype to significant mass production of the Cube had taken over six years. The Rubik's Cube would go on to become an instant success worldwide, winning several Toy of the Year awards, and becoming a staple of 1980's popular culture. To date, over 350 million Rubik's Cubes have been sold, making it the best selling toy of all time. Wikipedia
Miracoulus Deer (stag, hind)
Wikipedia
A central figure in the legends surrounding the origin of the Hungarian people. The name translates to "Miraculous Deer". According to Hungarian legend, preserved in the 13the century chronicle Gesta Hunnorum et Hungarorum by Simon of Kéza, while out hunting, the brothers Hunor and Magor saw a miraculous white stag (sometimes described as golden). They pursued the animal, but it always stayed ahead of them, leading them westward into Levedia, where they married two princesses and founded the Huns and Hungarian people. One of the main reasons for claims of religious and cultural ties between Huns and Hungarians is the stag and the brothers Hunor and Magor.
This is a nice article @zoltanbristol, particularly enjoyed the "Miraculous Deer". Do you have some more picture of Budapest in stock ??
