Hello Photography Lovers!

Today I would like to share with you some shots from my experience last year, during a stay in Athens, Greece, where I was working with the JCU Gladiators, in April 2024. One of the most emotional moments of the trip was the visit to the Acropolis Museum in Athens, a place that encompasses centuries of Greek history and culture.

The museum houses an extraordinary collection of artifacts from the Acropolis, including friezes, statues and architectural remains that tell the greatness of ancient Greece. Walking through the halls, I was able to admire up closely the details of the Caryatids, the majestic female figures that once supported the Portico of the Erechtheion. Their elegance and artistic mastery left me speechless.

Another unforgettable moment was observing the remains of the Parthenon up close. The fragments of metopes and pediments exhibited in the museum offer a unique perspective on the magnificence of this temple dedicated to Athena, the patron goddess of the city.

What makes the Acropolis Museum special is also its modern architecture, with large windows that offer a spectacular view of the Acropolis itself. Walking on the glass floors, you can also admire the ancient city of Athens excavated under the building.

In addition to the artistic wonder, this experience was made even more special by the company of the JCU Gladiators. Sharing this adventure with our team made the trip an experience of cultural growth and friendship.

I leave you some photos taken during the visit! Let me know in the comments if you have ever visited Athens and which part of the city impressed you the most.

Ciao a tutti, Photography Lovers!
