This well has a depth of 7.5 meters. If it is for a standard size then it is sufficient for the normal limit of getting a spring. But it is different if for now it is entering the dry season. Everywhere we see, almost all of the wells have less water discharge and are even almost dry. Because of that, this well must be dug deeper in order to get a new source of water.
Each well dug has a ring to hold the soil so it does not collapse into the well. The size of the ring is 100 Centimeter circle with the height of each well ring is 50 Centimeter. If the well has 14 rings, it means that the depth of the well is 700 centimeters or 7 meters.
Three people worked to dig this well. Two people are on duty above to pull the soil manually using a rope that has been tied to the container. Meanwhile, another person is in charge of digging the ground in the well. The situation in the well is very hot with dark lighting, so a small flashlight with adequate light is needed.
This additional digging depth until you have to find a water source. Incidentally this well got it at a depth of 3 meters or 6 units of well rings. The additional well ring which is 6 units is different in size from the well ring above. The size is slightly smaller so that it fits when lowered down the well. Thus, the additional digging process for this well was completed and the water came out slowly and in large quantities.
