Photomag competition - Water Wednesday - Magnifying

in #photomag6 years ago (edited)

Sometimes you gotta to what you gotta do.
So you grow the plants you like but also the ones that will look good on photos.
You make sure they bloom and look healthy.
Then wait for a sunny day among the gloomy, autumn ones.
Go out before the sun hides behind the bulding and start spraying the flowers, leaves like there is no tomorrow.

Just to get some water drops shots :)

This is one of my Chrysantheum plants. I got some cuttings few years back, and it has been growing for me and blooming ever since. I never grew one in a pot and it is always a learning process how it will react to being in a pot all year round. I must say she is very forgiving and even though it completely dies back every winter and scares the crap out me with that, in spring it starts to grow back.

And the smell... I love that smell if the flowers and leaves.

Lovely! The color and the water droplets, so fresh and happy :)

Hmm, yes the joys of trying to get the right natural light. The sun is so harsh where I live, I wait for overcast days. If I want sunlight in the picture, I must wait till very late afternoon so that the glare won't wreck everything

Oh! Thank goodness it's not like that here. I actually prefer the natural sunlight for photos. Colours always look better.

They do!
