“The view was magnificent, and from where I stood there was every opportunity of seeing it. The castle is on the very edge of a terrific precipice. A stone falling from the window would fall a thousand feet without touching anything! As far as the eye can reach is a sea of green tree tops, with occasionally a deep rift where there is a chasm. Here and there are silver threads where the rivers wind in deep gorges through the forests......
Let me warn you with all seriousness, that should you leave these rooms you will not by any chance go to sleep in any other part of the castle. It is old, and has many memories, and there are bad dreams for those who sleep unwisely. Be warned!” source

As a photographic sample is excellent as all your work, what you write of the castle, is a synthesis of the novel Dracula, written by Bran Stoker, which was taken to film by colombia picture, which in its time was a very expensive production. had a great box office pickup. In those days, that type of horror movies was not used to. maybe there's the success of that movie, excellent post @ adrianobalan
grazie mille
The perfect amount of eerie looking fog for such an eerie castle I guess... the monochrome edit helps too.
Amazing view

Wow beautiful, I love how it is all misty and you can't quite see the detail of the castle, so atmospheric!
