astonishing!! it remembers me the flowers of some kind of plant with little red fruits...!! called "MACESE" in Romanian...
Yes it can be bright red, orange or white. The bees have been busy on the bush today. Thankyou for your reply. Hope you enjoyed the photo.
sure I did!!
bare with me
Look very similar one... Fructus Cynosbati
Just checked about the berries and this is what I found on wikipedia.Pyracantha berries are mildly poisonous as their seeds contain cyanogenic glycosides (as do apples, plums, cherries, and almonds[4]) and can cause mild gastro-intestinal problems when eaten raw in large quantities;[4][5][6] they are edible only when crushed and washed under running water. They have been made into jelly.[7]👍
the picture I have posted cannot be Pyracantha because the berries I know are all good and no poisoned...
but are indeed very very similar...
it's called Fructus Cynosbati and it's very very healthy... and guess what!! FULL OF VITAMIN C!!
There not poison. The Wikipedia info says that they just need washing then crushing and then they can be made into jelly or I presume jam. It's the seeds that can be the problem if eaten raw and in too large a quantity. Hope that makes sense.

... confusing... I think Pyrachantha in great quantity give poison... remember... the poison is not a particular subtance... but the dosage...
