The Indian government is taking the help of scientific research to determine the real color of the Taj Mahal, a world-class structure. This initiative has been taken after the Supreme Court order.

India's Central Culture and Environment Minister Mahesh Sharma said on Sunday this information. He said, after receiving Supreme Court's directive last month, the government took necessary steps to maintain Taj Mahal.
The minister said they had pictures of Taj Mahal 100 years ago. The original color of the Taj Mahal can be found if scientific research is done in the picture.

The Supreme Court has questioned the true colors of the Taj Mahal. The Taj Mahal was made of white stone. Today, though, there is no color. Yellow has been seen before, brown has changed. And now it has been changed to muddy and a lot of greenery.

In a public interest litigation filed for demanding the maintenance and protection of the Taj Mahal last month, the Supreme Court of India had strongly condemned the archaeological department of India for accusing the Taj Mahal of maintaining the Taj Mahal. The Supreme Court Division Bench said no action was taken to stop the insect and pest attack in the historic monument, but it was not taken. On that day the Supreme Court sought archaeological department and Indian government's concerned ministry to know what they were thinking about it. The division bench of Justice MB B Lokur and Justice Dipak Gupta said that if the archaeological department was working properly for maintenance, then this question should not arise today.

On that day, Additional Solicitor General ANS Nadkarneni spoke on behalf of the central government. He told the Division Bench that the Ministry of Environment and Forests is thinking of recruiting international experts as per the advice of the court. The lawyer of the archaeological department said that the attack on insect pests in the Taj Mahal for the torrential submergence of Yamuna. The court replied in response to this, the court was surprised that the way in which the accused tried to blame themselves.

Earlier, the court expressed concern in the hearing last month that the color of the Taj Mahal is constantly changing. One of the reasons is pollution. The government is not thinking about this issue. Previously the Taj Mahal was in Haldet, now it is dark and green in place. So it is clear that the historic monument that is not being preserved properly.

Eminent environmentalist MC Mehta appealed to protect the Taj Mahal. His lawyer said, even though the top court gave directions to more than once, it was not properly implemented. So now the Taj Mahal is sitting on a terrible form. He further said, the safety of the Taj Mahal is not even better. CCTV is not working in most places. The Central Government and the Uttar Pradesh state government are doing nothing but money.

One of the wonders of the world is this historic Taj Mahal in Agra, India's northern province of Uttar Pradesh. The historical monument of Mughal emperor Shahjahan built this memory of his beloved wife Begum Mamtaz. The historical monument, Taj Mahal, was built between 1632 to 1653 in 42 acres of land. In 1983, UNESCO lists the world's traditional monuments to the Taj Mahal.
