#940 - Vigan Ilocos Sur Shots for Monday.

Moving now to our daily shots and it's about Ilocos Sur. Me and my family together with a friend strolled through Calle Crisologo in Vigan, Ilocos Sur as the sun cast a warm glow over the cobblestone street implying the rich history and charm of this ancient town. The air was filled with the sound of horse hooves on the stone pavement as calesas, traditional horse-drawn carriages, waited to take visitors on a leisurely tour of the area.
As we walked along we saw the beautifully preserved old Spanish houses that lined the street. Their old wooden facades with intricate carvings and details seemed to transport us back in time. The fact that these structures had been meticulously maintained and restored to their original grandeur is a solid proof to the town's commitment to preserving its heritage.
The calle itself was lined with an array of souvenir shops and stalls that are offering an assortment of local handicrafts, textiles, food and trinkets and many more kinds of souvenirs. We wandered through the vendors while browsing through their items and selecting a few food and ref magnets to commemorate our visit. The friendly shopkeepers and locals added to the warm atmosphere.
One of the highlights of our experience was taking memorable photos amidst the picturesque surroundings. The old houses provided a stunning backdrop for our shots while the calesas and horses added a touch of nostalgia. As we posed for photos, we felt like we were part of a bygone era surrounded by history and tradition.
