Regarding reality or existing, Aristotle disagrees with his teacher Plato who says that reality exists in the world of ideas. According to Aristotle, the existent is in particular and concrete matters. Thus, that reality exists in the concrete, the various, the changing. That is the real reality.

Regarding hule and morphee, the so-called hule is an element that becomes the basis of the cessation. Meanwhile, the morphee is the element underlying its provisions.

In contrast to Plato, Aritothes accepted the more transformed and becoming, the diverse, all within the world of experience, as the real reality. That is why Aristotle's view is called realism. He said that every thing or thing is composed of hule and morphe, which came to be known as "hulemorphistic theory". Hule is the base of the droplets. Because the hule is then an object is the object itself or a particular object. For example the A is not the B because of his hule. While the morphe is the basis of unity that menajdi core of everything. Because of its morphe, everything is the same as the other (one core) into one of the same kind. This morphe is different from hule, and can only be known by reason only. The miscellaneous Ali, Ani and Ahmad are in the same morphe greetings, ie as human beings. However, both hule and morphee are an integral whole. With his hule everything is manifest in reality and because of its morphe everything contains the essence of meaning as something. The view of Aristotle's hulemorphism is in line with his theory of potency and potency. Aktus is the basis of sincerity while potential is the basis of possibilities. Everything is really due to its actus and maybe (experiencing dynamic change) because of its potential. So if used to understand something concrete then hule is its potential, and morphee is its act.

All kinds of changes and developments (diversity or diversity) occur because of the hule that contains the dynamic potential that moves toward the pure forms of actus. While pure aktus does not contain any potential, so it is fixed, unchanging and lasting.
