许多人在初次接触学习刻度尺或是温度计量程的时候，都会犯一个错误，那就是认为最大的刻度值是它的量程。
其实不然，就拿温度计举例吧，因为大部分人生活所限，很少接触到比较低的温度，却更容易接触到较高的温度，例如100℃，造成我们有个思维的误区，以为量程只是向高温方向的。
其实呢，量程是向两个方向的：高温和低温。
量程是一个范围，例如：-50℃——100℃。
其实，物理中的许多概念的理解，都需要我们抛弃日常的偏见，从新思考和学习，有时，甚至是逆转思维。
要学好物理，首先要充分的认识，理解概念，例如，量程的概念，跟路程对比着理解，都有“程”字，路程是个长度量，那么量程也显然。这也是一个很重要的学习方法，新知识与旧知识的对比思考与理解。
