Well, I'm Jenny, pinay by heart and soul.
An earthchild. Descendant of moonsoon rains and thunderstorms because I was born in August so the most typhoons in the Philippines are.

As a child I'm already a dreamer, not of vanities and luxuries life could offer but how it could be (Life) magical and mysterious in its simplest form. For these, I followed the courses of a river, climbed mountains, gathered fireflies, walk under dewdrops, savoured rainshowers, and chasing the sun and moon. Yes I adore nature and its elemental powers. For all of these I am an earthchild.

Now that I'm reaching midforties, a mother of three, a vagabond in foreign land, a caregiver of the needs of others, I cannot even see stars at night. The reflection of lamp posts and neon signs are much brighter than the evening sky. I never dared to look up because I am enclosed in brighter rooms. My life is conquered by the digital clock of time. Life changes by the way and so are goals and dreams.

In throwback years, I always wanted to write. Those were the loafing years of my life that my mind was loaded with creativity- creative impulses. Most of the people who never knew me by heart thought that I am detached and loner. They always told me I have blank eyes. They never knew I always created them as characters putting them alive in my own world.Yes, I wrote short stories before and had a passion for poetry. I never looked at people's eyes, I always seeing them in their hearts.

Thanks to steemit. I felt some butterflies in my stomach for dealing with these but you're bringing light to my passion and love for writing.

For those who want to follow me, I'm giving you the halftime of my life.

I find it difficult to translate my poetry to English. I have written alot in Hiligaynon or Ilonggo dialect and already translated in Tagalog but when I do it in English its like narration. Lol
Cannot express the feelings behind it.

Thats okay in tagalog ;) I can understand more in tagalog! hehe

You can write in mother tongue. Exercise freedom. There is also an audience in the search engines, not only on steemit

Please write in Hiligaynon or Ilonggo, wala pa nyan. Umpisahan mo ate.
Proper tagging with #Philippines if in English or #Pilipinas if in Tagalog or any dialect.
Follow ka na ni @flabbergast-art

Really? I have lots of Hiligaynon poetry na makabagbag damdamin. Sige simulan ko yan.

Very nice 😊
