We are what we think
I did not think about it myself.
I was listening to an interview, and a guy was asked about the best piece of advise. And this is what he said.
I have been thinking about it since.
There are many theories that complement this. It is like manifestation or others.
I do agree that our energy can help us achieve good things, when we think in a positive way - or take out a positive thing even out of negative events.
I recently thought also about a friend who is the most positive person I have ever known and she always says good things to me and helps me smile. Even if I have a lot on my mind and I find it difficult.
She has managed to have a good life, of her choice and she has a way of spending every day the way she wants.
As a result, I do agree.
We have a saying in Greek
"You’ve made your bed, now lie in it." (Όπως έστρωσες, θα κοιμηθείς)
This conveys the same idea of facing the consequences of one's actions.
Our actions are defined and guided by our thoughts.
So we are back at square one.
It is important that we spend sometime to clear our minds and think.
Think, dream, hope and plan ahead.

I 'think' there is more to what we are than what we think. BTW We have the same saying in the UK.
Indeed. What we think of most of the time manifests in our words and actions. If they are negative thoughts then our words and actions will also be negative. If positive we will speak and act positively. I tend to set my mind on any positive thing I hear or see and think deeply on it. If one picks a goal they want to achieve and think it most of the time, they have a very high chance of actually achieving it.
The law of cause and effect works at all time.
Especially the laying on the bed as you've made it.
