How interesting and beautiful exhibition, loved it! The displayed calligraphy can make us feel we are still humans, right? I mean, 90% of my writing activity nowadays is just typing on the keyboard, we slowly forget our own handwriting, not to mention calligraphy. It is indeed art! Requires soul, inspiration, creativity and discipline! Loved your post, @jane1289. Seems this Sunday I have a bit of time to look around hive and find beautiful posts, as yours. ;))
Sad fact. Being in this modern world, we tend to forget the traditional way of writing. Sometimes, I feel like my hand writing becoming ugly as I often use it since I am into typing on keyboards already, lol.
I do love writing calligraphy when I have a lot of time. I admire those who can write beautiful strokes written from the heart.
