Not a pizza, not a flatbread introducing the Pinza. This pizza hybrid has a crisp bottom, light Fluffy top and a slight chewiness that ticks all your snacking needs.
We ordered the:
Pinzatalia (tomato sauce *spicy, diced mozerella, gran padano, pecorino, cherry tomatoes, fresh onion, seasoned chicken and basil)
Truffle goodness (black truffle sauce, mozerella, parsley, portabello mushroom)
My husband recommended the pinzatalia but my breastfeeding brain was thinking a single pinza will not be enough to suppress my ravenous appetite. So, after much diliberation we chose the truffle goodness. The pinzatalia was finger licking good, with a little bit of heat coming from the sauce. The spicy base was optional but ummmmmm, it should be the standard.
The truffle goodness was tasty, if you like the taste of truffle this would be a slice of heaven. I prefer to eat more vegetarian based dishes and this little pinza didn't disappoint. Generously topped with wafer thin layers of portabello mushroom every bite was a taste sensation.
Comprising of soy, rice and rye flour this bread dough concoction claims to have fewer calories without compromising on flavour. A wholesome and healthier option was exactly what I needed from a late night treat.
I'm a convert to the Pinza.
I think we had them in Kuwait? Very tasty as I recall. ;) tip!
