If you have sent PIVX from one local wallet to another wallet but the PIVX has was not been received it could be caused because you are running an older version of the wallet.
Want to know how to recover it?
Here's a simple 5 step tutorial
Check the version of the PIVX wallet from which you have sent the PIVX.
You can find the version of the wallet on -> Tools -> About PIVX core
If you are running version 2.0 or older you are in the PIVX block chain (before the hard fork at the beginning of October 2017).You can confirm this checking for the transaction ID
https://chainz.cryptoid.info/pivx/
You shouldn't find a transaction ID. This is because your transaction happened in the older blockchain.
If you can find a transaction ID most likely your issue is a different one.
- Download and install the latest wallet from the official source. You should install at least 3.0.4
https://pivx.org/wallet/
Navigate to your data directory and delete the files pointed in red arrow in the following image:
Now re-launch the wallet and wait for it to Sync. This can take few hours on slower internet connection.
Once the synchronization was finished you should see the missed coins in your origin address again.
You will see the Transaction ID which a exclamation mark an 'conflicted status'
If you want to remove the transaction ID from the transaction history you can do it on:
Tools -> Wallet repair and then select 'Recover transactions 1'
You should be ready now to send your PIVX again. Just ensure your destination wallet is updated to 3.0.4 as well!
