They could get sucked into the engine causing fire!!!
I think they can't get into the engine as we think, because the engine area has a fan rotating if I'm not making a mistake, which will surely blow the birds away.....!

This is one of the main issues that lead to aeroplane crashes, their must be a way out to save precious lives.
It's hard to think the nature can be so dangerous to us sometimes - imagine if those bird get stuck into the engine?
Many bird flying with aeroplane is not good news
