This was the first succulent I ever bought. I got it out of someone's garage on Father's day. It was five bucks and came with a clay pot and some chocolate Easter eggs. That was five years ago now. I think I made a good financial decision.
Now I have quite a few hanging out on my window sill. They're all very different and I often wonder why I pay so much attention to them.
This particular one has been squeeking along ever since I grew it from a discarded cutting I found in a nursery. It's funny how we anthropomorphize things in our daily life. I've heard of people giving their plants names and personalities. I always find myself feeling sorry for the ones that I keep outside for the winter months.
Nice shots! We want to see the rest of your plants too!
You know who was the best at anthropomorphizing things? Our grandmother! Everything she owned had a name and a personality. Black Beauty the Lincoln, Kreepy the pool vacuum, Nutty the squirrel, the list goes on. So, perhaps it's genetic.
What equipment did you use? This is an amazing photograph.
Just a cell phone and natural lighting!
Well they are alive, why not name them?
Good point! What should I name mine?
I'd name that first one Sublime 😃

Man.. I love the fractal patterns in flowers, and it's very prominent in succulents.
Tl;dr.
Hey.... Nice plant.
